• From what I could see the only potential problem you'd have is that there is a raised piece of foam on the vent/thermostat (for the controller) that may get in the way if you install the (discontinued) Atwood Air Command Rooftop RV Air Conditioner AT15025-21 how you mentioned (see attached photos). • That little tab is also in the video for the # 3513932C. It is possible to get the strut off here but it can be a real pain sometimes. Since yours isn't cooperating you can try a different method to remove the arm. There is an additional pin holding the arm in place at the other end which is easier to deal with. You will need to reach up on the right side closest to the door to access it and the strut will pop off to the left.
